Our team are qualified clinicians who have industry experience in public and private clinical service provision. They are a passionate team with a customer focus on obtaining the best outcomes possible and improving the quality of life for their patients.
All clinicians have received a Working With Children Check.
MERRICK - Managing Director & Senior Orthotist
Qualified in 1981 by Health Commission of NSW in orthotics after completing a 4 year course and practical work at the University of Sydney campus. Merrick has 40+ years experience in private & public hospitals as an Orthotist, specialising in adult and pediatric spinal cases and training/measuring for Dynamic Movement Orthoses. He is one of the co-founders of Korthotics since 2004.
YOUNG - Co-Founder & Financial Manager
Completed a Master of International Business at UWS (University of Western Sydney) and is one of the co-founders of the business & financial manager for Korthotics since 2004.
MEE - Orthotist
Completed a Bachelor of Science in Korea and Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics at La Trobe University in 2009. She started working for Korthotics since 2010. Specialising in carbon fibre laminations.
VICTOR - Orthotist
Completed a Masters of Prothetics & Orthotics at La Trobe University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Industrial Design at RMIT University in 2006. He has been working for Korthotics since 2018. Specialising in Additive Manufacturing and 3D printed orthotic and prosthetic devices. Victor is also a guest lecturer at Sunshine Coast University in CAD/CAM for those studying Prosthetics and Orthotics.
ISABEL - Orthotist
Completed a Masters of Prosthetics & Orthotics at La Trobe University in Prosthetics & Orthotics in 2022. She has been working for Korthotics since January 2023. She specialises in working with our paediatric patients including orthotics and DMO.
DIDIER - Orthotist
Completed a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Prosthetics and Orthotics at University of Sunshine Coast in 2024. He has been working with Korthotics since November 2024.
KIN - Design & Innovation 3D Specialist
Completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design at UNSW and graduated in 2012.
KYLIE - Practice Manager
Completed a Diploma of Management at Baulkham Hills College, Certificate IV in Customer Contact, Certificate IV in Business, Certificate III in Business and Advanced Certificate in Hospitality and Catering. Kylie has 27 years experience in NSW Health. She has been working for Korthotics since 2020.
LYLY - Marketing Coordinator
Completed a Bachelor of Multimedia Systems at RMIT University & has 8 years experience in eCommerce. She has been working with Korthotics since 2019.
